the handwriting of babettes peaces began while learning to forge in southeast asia. working with the material became a direct visual language of its own — personal, visible and never built around perfect repetition.

forming, hammering, casting and finishing remain part of each piece. edges are not hidden and impressions are not polished away. this is where silver begins to carry a handwriting.
